  • Monitors film usage to determine correct amount of water required for quality film archivability
  • Filters contaminates and eliminates silver to <1ppm
  • Self-regulating. Software automatically switches from active to stand by mode with processor usage
  • Automatically doses and recirculates biocide when processor is dormant for extended periods
  • Dramatically reduces the amount of water consumption, 90-95%
  • Audible signal tells user when to replace filters
  • Window shows fluid level of biocide
  • Versatile placement; on floor with stand, or wall mount
  • Can be mounted piggy-back w/CSRS J-Series Silver WizardTM Models J1t or J2t recirculating silver recovery units.
  • Plug and play

For Discharge limits below 1.0 ppm and maximum operating efficiency, a CSRS Silver Wizard™ Recirculating Silver Recovery Unit is recommended to be used in conjunction with the Washwater Wizard™.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT?

The WashWater Wizard monitors the amount of film usage to determine the correct amount of wash water. Competitive wash water systems use a time-interval (hold and dump) concept of operation. Any fluctuations in processing volume require manual adjustment and can create potential film processing problems: Either the water will be dumped too often, or it will be reused far too long, allowing the accumulation of contaminants. This accumulation will ultimately affect film quality, archievability and the environment.

The WashWater WizardTM is a closed loop system that operates in-line without requiring a holding tank. This means less floor space is occupied.

Competitive systems depend on gravity to take the overflow from the processor to the wash water unit. They require an extra holding tank which adds to the cost and uses valuable floor space. Their operation interrupts production, is time consuming, and there is a potential risk of flooding the processor.

The WashWater WizardTM system includes an automatically regulated biocide feeder. The Wizard continually monitors water usage and automatically doses the correct amount of biocide (even while in stand by mode) to substantially reduce biogrowth in the processor.
Several other systems on the market today do not have automatic biocide dosing. Any system that does not address the issue of biogrowth is ignoring a major concern in processor maintenance! The result is expensive labor costs and down time.
