MS100 Metering Station-Collection Tank
with automatic control system and metering pump.
Large 15 gallon (57 L) holding capacity
Processing capacity: 19 to 50 gal (72 to189 L) daily.

ms100.side.gif (46150 bytes)

FEATURES:
  • Fully automatic operation
  • Large funnel for manual fluid entry
  • Hour meter to determine volume of solution pumped
  • Can be easily connected to multiple processors
  • Adjustable pump rate (50 -250 ml/mn) 10 - 50 gal/day. Simple to adjust (Pump adjustments are not made through control panel which invites unwanted changes)
  • Holding Capacity; Because of the larger holding capacity the CSRS unit can readily handle the volume from multiple processors. The additional holding capacity also allows for the periodic processor maintenance where all the fixer chemistry is dumped at one time
  • Manual Fill Port The CSRS units have a large manual fill port that allows solution to be manually poured in as well as inspection of the tank
  • Reliable long lasting Pumps; Bellows Metering Pumps with EDPT seals
  • Easy to Install; Connect the hoses, plug in the unit, fill the system with water or fixer to prime system.
115 V 60 Hz
2 Amps.
Dimensions (H x Dia) 30.5 x 14 (77x36 cm)
Weight: 19 lbs (8.6 kg). Dimensional Weight (air) 64 kgs.

DESCRIPTION: Designed to remove silver waste from photochemistry. Silver bearing fixer solution passes by gravity flow from the processor overflow drain tube into first the primary and then the secondary chamber of the MR200 where effluent is desilvered prior to passing to the drain or the Effluent Sample Box (ESB). The MR200 can reduce silver concentration from photographic fixer solutions to less than 5 ppm. Laboratory results have consistently indicated that the MR200 will meet the Environmental Requirements providing the units are installed properly in relation to the flow rate, volume processed and total time used. The MR200 has no electrical or mechanical parts. It works on the chemical reaction of two dissimilar metals acting together in an acid solution to create an electrical charge (galvanic cell). The silver is plated onto mesh when both metals are present in the acidic fixer solution. Some of the silver will also form as a sludge which falls to the bottom of the collection bag.
